I have heard of radio personalities broadcasting from their homes. But this is the first time I have heard of someone broadcasting regularly from a studio set up in their home for a network.
Sarah Palin is that someone. Fox News has set up the studio in their home. Call it the Wasilla bureau.
The New York Times reports that Mama Palin is building quite a power base from her home in the little Alaskan town:

Mark Leibovich writes reports for the Times that Sarah Palin gets daily domestic and foreign policy briefings from a group of advisers who stayed loyal to her after the 2008 campaign. She also keeps close contact with a group of Washington insiders who keep her up to date on the latest political news.
Add that to the fact that she is becoming increasingly vocal and visible and the Leibovich concludes:
Her growing cast of advisers and support system could be working in the service of any number of goals: a presidential run, a de facto role as the leader of the Tea Party movement, a lucrative career as a roving media entity — or all of the above. Ms. Palin represents a new breed of unelected public figure operating in an environment in which politics, news media and celebrity are fused as never before. Whether she ever runs for anything else, Ms. Palin has already achieved a status that has become an end in itself: access to an electronic bully pulpit, a staff to guide her, an enormous income and none of the bother or accountability of having to govern or campaign for office.
For now. I keep going back to the words of Sarah Palin's father - "She's not resigning. She's reloading." She has also become more poltically astute, more versed on foreign affairs and more powerful than ever.

Overall Sarah did a very good speech in Nashville. It was not overly RINO or CINO sounding.

I was disappointed in the Tea Party speach. It was poorly written and not well delievered. Sarah can do better.

If they are registered as a foreign national in a US work program or can show their paycheck tax stubs then they should get basic medical assistance.
but for the worker only, and no other social security benefits.
We should have a foreign national US work program in the US, so that alot of these illegals can work legally in the US, pay taxes, and get some needed benefits.
But there is no need or justification to even be discussing weak liberal anti-American undeserved amnesty or US citizenship for the foreign national illegal aliens, that are partaking in the illegal invasion from Mexico, central and south America.

holidays/festivals, and are part of the American culture. They are basicly just times for Americans to enjoy themselves on those days.
They are not newly introduced because of multi-culturalism, they've been in place for a long enough time to be considered as part of the original American culture.
Also as long any one of the holidays you listed is not costing the US people more $$$ than it's worth, what's your point?
I'll admit that there should be more truth in the meaning of those said named days talked about when they are celebrated.
