Sarah Goes Rogue for Thanksgiving Dinner

Sarah Palin is taking a Thanksgiving break from her Going Rogue book tour to spend time with family members in Southeastern Washington State. Moments after arriving by private jet Wednesday evening from Orlando, Fla., she told reporters, "It's kind of surreal. But it's really good to be back in the Tri-Cities to reconnect with the roots."

Sarah, wearing an orange shirt that read "Alaska Crown," and 25 members of her family joined 3,000 runners in the annual 5K Richland Turkey Trot to benefit the Red Cross.

"We'll be in the back," Palin said as she pushed a double jogger stroller. Hundreds lined the course, cheering and applauding as Sarah Palin passed. Tri-cityHerald.com reports that Palin didn't finish the race, opting to leave the course early to avoid more crowds at the end. About 40 minutes into the run, word started trickling out to people gathered at the finish line that she was gone.

Following the race, Palin had dinner at the Richland home of her aunt, Katie Johnson. On Sunday, Palin will resume her nationally publicized book tour, signing copies of Going Rogue at noon at the Hastings bookstore at 1425 George Washington Way in Richland.

Before the race started, Sarah told a TV reporter something that is difficult the believe - the Palin's were not having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Quiznos? She may be taking the whole "Going Rogue" thing a little too far.

Must be fatigue from the run. Everybody knows Subway is vastly superior.

Sarah Palin QUITS again???? She couldn't finish a 5K race? I'm sorry, I thought she was a runner! Does this woman finish anything she starts?

Definitely, she's not a good American if she's eating Quiznos for Thanksgiving.
