After hearing so much about the "Blue Dogs" in Congress, they ended up being all bark and no bite.
The group of "alleged" moderates and conservatives among the ranks of the House Democrats is a sham. In the end, 39 Democrats voted against the House Health Care Bill - 24 of them were part of the Blue Dog Coalition.
That means the majority of the 52 Blue Dogs - these Democrats who claim to be Independent thinkers - gave in to the pressure of Nancy Pelosi and voted with their party.

Liberals don’t understand that socialized medicine has never worked. All go bankrupt and lead to rationing. The government, and therefore taxes, grow. People have less money and eventually less healthcare. This whole bill is about growing government and government's control over the people. The Constitution, that which defines America, is what’s under attack. God bless Palin, Bachmann, and anyone else who fights on the side of the truth.

Don't you get it? Health care is already rationed. Michael Jackson could get all the treatments he wanted, whether he needed them or not. It didn't even matter if the treatments were good for him. As long as he had the money..
The rest of us struggle to get treatment, especially if we are self-employed, work for a company that doesn't provide health insurance...and if we get sick, well no insurance company will want us.
The Republicans have tried to convince you that the current system is great. It's not, except for the people sucking in all the money--and for the Republican Party, getting rich from convincing people to keep the status quo, which is oh so lucrative for the special interests.

I get so tired of hearing Cons use the Constitution as their argument for everything. The only time the Constitution is applicable is when a Conservative sees fit to make it so. You reinvent its meaning each time your current agenda needs a booster shot. You do the same thing with the Bible. There is nothing in the Constitution that addresses health care...nothing. If it did, we doctors would still be using leeches and tar.
Also, since when do you people get to complain about our Democrats? You have a lot of house cleaning to do of your own. Let us worry about our "Blue Dogs". Chances are, you didn't vote for them and I sincerely doubt that you ever will, so your concern and dismay is pointless.
