John Ziegler Attacks MSNBC and They Cut Off His Microphone

Here is the hypocrisy of Contessa Brewer's indignation - everyone at MSNBC knows what John Ziegler is going to do. He is been on several times before and he always attacks MSNBC as being the Obama Network. They have him on because THEY LIKE the confrontation - it makes for YouTube clips - blog mentions - and viewers.

John Ziegler knew this which is why I believe he was smiling through the entire interview. He must have thought, "Well, they know what I am going to do so they must want it."

So if Contessa Brewer was really "insulted" as she said, she is not very astute. My guess is that she was feigning outrage because Zeigler was clearly smarter and got the best of her.

If MSNBC is going to continue to have Ziegler on, they need hosts who are on an intellectually level playing field. Looking at their line-up, I'm not sure they have anyone right now.

I would love to see him on with Keith Olbermann, but Olbermann would NEVER interview someone bright with an opposing point of view because then he would be exposed s a fraud.

Imagine if he was talking about YOUR 14 year old daughter. I guess Ol' Dave thinks statutory rape is funny. It was completely inappropriate and Letterman should apologize both for that and this top ten list -



I think if Todd Palin took a trip to New York and slugged David Letterman, most of the country would understand. What would you do if someone said your wife dressed like a slut and your 14 year old daughter acted like one.

If Letterman had any class at all, he would apologize - and so he won't.

David has the reputation of being insecure. That's why he has his desk sit so much higher than his guests, why he doesn't like to be looked at in the halls and why he attacks people (especially women) who won't appear on his show.

As I said before, like the awkward High School kid he most certainly was, he is attacking the pretty girls who won't give him the time of day.

I think it is time for David Letterman to retire.
