Palin Santelli in 2012

How does that picture grab you?

I got it from Kathryn Jean Lopez's blog on The National Review's site.

She noticed how people are fired up after CNBC's Rick Santelli's rant about President Obama's mortgage plan.

Here he is on the floor of the Chicago Board of trade:

And here is what Kathryyn Jean Lopez wrote after being inundated with emails about the TV moment.

"I think people are hungry for someone who is fed up with the way things are and who seem to believe in something enough to know there in an alternative worth fighting for. Some of the voices may be far from perfect, but Americans are looking for signs of the life of an alternative. And so if a representative pops up — someone who appears to have roots and energy, folks will cheer them on in the hopes there’s a candidate here. Maybe not a presidential candidate, but a leader of some sort. Someone who can offer a vision of something other than a culture of bailout.

Today, Rick Santelli was that sign of life."

And how much do you want to bet that Rick Santelli just got himself his own show on CNBC?

Loved that Santelli rant! It made me so fired up, and I loved the way all the traders were like, "Hell ya!" Go Santelli!

More and more people are starting to realize that all this mortgage bailout that 0bama wants is rewarding the irresponsible who bought homes they had no way to pay for, at the expense of the 90 pdercent of homeowners who are responsible.

Bailout 2008, a poem by David Jeffrey

Like a bloodied warrior,
laying broken and torn.

Like a dying soldier, hopeless and forlorn.

But the blood, it be green,
the color of money.

And the soldier is an economy,
and it is anything but funny.

Broken are it's people and shattered are their dreams.

Thanks to the ultra rich and their full proof schemes.

It is a tragedy with more pain to come.

Finance will be Hell, and their wills will be done.
