David Shuster Should Be Fired for Comments about Sarah Palin.

How many times will MSNBC allow David Shuster to embarrass them without taking final action?

The latest journalistic crime by Shuster is an interview with Documentarian John Zeigler where he make outrageous statements and misrepresents an interview with Sarah Palin prompting Ziegler to say "You're a joke!"

Nothing truer has ever been said on MSNBC.

Watch this incredible back and forth between Zeigler and Shuster and try and remember that David Shuster is supposed to be a journalist.

Let's take a closer look at what happened in this clip that exposed David Shuster and MSNBC more than any documentary will ever be able to.

First, the video clip that Shuster started his segment with was Sarah Palin reacting to the scandalous lie perpetuated by the main stream media that her infant son Trig wasn't really hers. It was a simply outrageous accusation that was way out of bounds. But Shuster omitted that she was talking about Trig and portrayed Palin as making a general defense of herself.

Then, after showing a clip of Katie Couric talking about her great "gotcha moment," Shuster says that Sarah Palin still can't explain what she reads. I urge you to watch the Palin YouTube clip to see if that is true. Here it is again -

Quote from Palin:
"I spend a lot of time reading our local papers and the highly circulated publications here in Alaska because that is my job to know the business of Alaska and out communities. But also, USA Today, yes, and the New York Times."

Quote from Shuster-Zeigler interview:
Shuster - "She still can't really explain what she reads."
Zeigler - "David, you didn't watch the clip apparently. She clearly states what it is she read."
Shuster (dismissive) - "She talked about news articles that are widely circulated in Alaska."
Zeigler - "You're a joke! Did you not watch the clip?"

The answer is clearly no. David Shuster didn't spend the 9 and a half minutes to watch the YouTube clip of the Sarah Palin interview that was absolutely necessary as research to discuss the topic. And then he just fabricated something to cover the fact that he didn't do even the minimal about of research. His lie was what exposed his and his network's clear bias towards Palin.

But the worst was yet to come.

The supposedly unbiased journalist then called Palin "clearly unqualified."

Plain and simple David Shuster should be fired. He showed gross irresponsibility by not doing the small amount of research required for an interview and lied to try and cover for himself. He then stated his opinion as fact. They are two major breeches of journalistic ethics.

Shuster seems to have made the conscience decision to toss aside any semblance of journalistic integrity to become a talking head star by being outrageous. He is becoming a circus clown. You can't take him seriously on any topic, but he is entertaining and fun to laugh at.

If that is what MSNBC wants, than please stop pretending that he is a journalist.

MSNBC has suspended Shuster in the past for claiming Bill and Hillary Clinton "pimped out" their daughter (and you know what that implies about Chelsea). Here is the clip:

And here is David Shuster with his tail between his legs issuing an apology:

MSNBC doesn't like when its "journalists" attack a Democrat.

Let's see if Shuster gets suspended for his latest show of idiocy, which I believe is just as bad as his Chelsea moment.

If he isn't suspended or reprimanded, then there is clearly a double standard at MSNBC. You can be inappropriate and irresponsible when the target is a Republican (especially Sarah Palin), but not when it is a Democrat.

We owe a thank you to John Zeigler for exposing David Shuster as a fraud. You are right John, he is a joke.
