Can't You Just Leave The Palin Kids Alone!!!!

I can't help but feel for Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston.

It is difficult enough to prepare for a marriage and a baby as teenagers, but the young couple can't catch a break.

First, Levi Johnston's Mother Sherry gets arrested for selling drugs.

Then the two are called high school drop-outs in media reports, even though they are both taking correspondence courses to graduate from Wasilla High School.

Now, Levi has to quit his job on the North Slope Oil Field because a local talk show radio host questioned his eligibility. Any other 18 year old would fly under the radar. But this poor kid can't catch a break. And, of course, they are using the story to attack Sarah Palin claiming she used influence to get her the job.

Levi's father Keith tells the Anchorage Daily News that he got Levi the job and the Governor had nothing to do with it. You can read the story by clicking here. Levi quit school and was excited to get the apprentice job so he could buy an engagement ring and afford to support a family. The union rules are that you need to have a High school diploma. Levi was a month away from getting one. The only reason anyone knew he hadn't graduated were from the press. This young man is collateral damage of attack dogs in the media.

I can't imagine what Levi Johnston is going through. He quits college, becomes a father is about to get married, is forced to quit his job (thanks to Fagan) and his Mother goes to court on drug charges.

If this young couple can survive this, they can survive anything.
