Tina Fey claimed she wanted nothing to do with Sarah Palin after the election, that it was time to move on.
So why is she talking about Sarah?
Because a TV Entertainment reporter ticked her off by saying that Sarah Palin had been gracious to Tina Fey, but Fey was not gracious to Palin in her skits.
Tina Fey went off on the charge in Vanity Fair.
“What made me super-mad about it was that it seemed very sexist toward me and her. The implication was that she’s so fragile, which she is not. She’s a strong woman. And then, also, it was sexist because, like, who would ever go on the news and say, ‘Well, I thought it was sort of mean to Richard Nixon when Dan Aykroyd played him,’ and ‘That seemed awful mean to George Bush when Will Ferrell did it.’ And it’s like, No, that’s not the thing. This is a comedy sketch on a comedy show.” “Mean,” we agreed, was a word that tends to get used on women who do satirical humor and, as she says, “gay guys.”
Wow! Who knew Tina Fey was so sensitive?
She is right that Sarah Palin is a strong women who took more unfair criticism and attacks than most of us will suffer in a lifetime. Much of the Tina Fey impersonation was unfair, but that was comedy, not journalism. So I get her point.
But the writing and reporting about Fey has been 99.9 percent positive, to go off on one negative comment is a little self-involved.
Tina, Tina, Tina, everybody loves you. In part because you trashed a woman who has much more intestinal fortitude than you will ever have. Life is about a Yin and Yang. Live with both.

Great blog, ok, don't let these trolls keep you down.
Tina Fey is a disgrace; she only used Sarah Palin to try to become famous. I had never heard of her before!
palin for playboy
Tina Fey had much more fame than Palin before that disgrace of a campaign Palin ran. Fey does NOT need Palin to be successful. She has LONG been one of the most successful television writers in the industry.
