The Church that Sarah Palin belongs to was hit by fire Friday night. The building suffered severe damage. It will take at least one million dollars to make necessery repairs.
What makes this even more awful is that investigators suspect arson.
The Associated Press reports that Larry Kroon, pastor of the Church, declined to say if the blaze was politically based or directed at Palin, the failed Republican vice presidential candidate.
Kroon says the fire broke out Friday night while a small group of women were working on crafts. They were alerted to the blaze by a fire alarm.
Kroon says he was called and by the time he got to the church, smoke was pouring out of the building. Sprinklers kept the fire from spreading beyond offices and classrooms.
Authorities are not immediately commenting, but Kroon says he's been told the fire is being investigated as a crime.

The Wasilla Bible Church will meet at Wasilla Middle School, 650 E Bogard Road, at 11:15 am only on Sunday, December 14th. It is likely there will be limited or no child care or programs this Sunday. Our building was damaged by a fire Friday evening, and will need repairs before we can resume worship there again. Praise God that no one in the building was injured, and pray for us as we rebuild. We will likely meet at the Middle School for a while until the building is ready again. We’ll update this page once we reschedule locations and times for events as we celebrate our Savior’s birth. The normal web page will return once the offices are restored. Here is the link to the other parts of our website. Dates and times may not be correct if the location is the Church building. The telephones are not working right now, but email is functioning.

We have to hope this wasn't related to her failed bid to become the first female Vice-President. However, there was a huge Palin derangement syndrome by many on the left. The Mainstream Media tried to Paint her as a book burning, assault weapon packing lunatic who didn't know where Russia was. See picture here.

This is simply awful. I do believe however that both the church and Sarah will come out stronger than ever, especially with many blessings from people across America and from the Lord. Ya can't keep a good woman (or church) down! :-)
