Caroline Kennedy is Sarah Palin Lite

Andrew Malcolm, my friend at the LA Times, has a great new blog blurb about Caroline Kennedy. Now, Andrew took a fair amount of shots at Sarah Palin and we called him on it at The Sarah Palin Blog. But Andrew, you know, shows us that he is, you know, a fair man by calling Caroline Kennedy on her obvious, you know, lack of eloquence.

Click here to read Andrew's, you know, blog. And watch this:

I'll take "You Betcha" and "By Golly" over "Ya Know" anyday.

You have to give Andrew Malcolm credit for not walking lock step with the rest of the media who are oohing and ahing over the possibility of the daughter of JFK and the sister of John-John in office.

Even though Kennedy has a light resume, a, you know, speaking problem and refuses to answer questions, the liberal media is willing to give her a pass. A pass they wouldn't give Sarah Palin, a Governor, who is a wonderful speaker and actually stands for something.

The media in New York have been embarrassingly giddy over a Kennedy running for senate. But the paper and reporters in upstate New York are not as starry eyed. Recently Caroline Kennedy visited the Mayor of Syracuse and refused to answer any reporters questions. That led one reporter to say, "You want to be U.S. Senator and you won't answer our questions. Really?"

You can read the story and hear the video by clicking here.

What if Kennedy's last name was Palin?

It is a great question and one that was answered perfectly by Andrea Tantaros, who is much prettier than Andrew Malcolm. See picture -

To read her column click here.

Caroline Kennedy seems to believe the position of US Senator is a birth right. After all, her last name is Kennedy, she is American royalty. She never had to do the menial task of being on the PTA or serving as a small town Mayor or running a small business. Kennedy's don't do things the old fashioned way, they don't earn it, they simply say, "I choose to have that given to me now."

Caroline Kennedy's qualifications for the US Senate are, in her own words, that she is a best selling author and an attorney. The Republicans should run John Grisham against her.

The media should be embarrassed at the heavy handed way they treated GOVERNOR Palin for her lack of experience, while treating Author Caroline Kennedy with kid gloves.

And while we are at it, can we stop calling Kathleen Parker a conservative columnist? How many liberal columns does she have to write before she is off the team?

She wrote an anti-Palin, pro-Kennedy puff piece for the Washington Post. (Maybe by Washington Post standards, she is conservative, which means she isn't at all.) You can read the "faux" conservative's column by clicking here, if you must.

The tragedy is that Caroline Kennedy will get into office simply because she has the right last name, went to the right schools and goes to the right cocktail parties. In sharp contrast, Sarah Palin's candidacy was dragged through the coal because she came from a middle class, working family, attended the College her family could afford and decided to raise a family.

Given their resumes and lifestyles, I'll take Palin over Kennedy everytime.

This is soooooooo sad.

You will delete this fully KNOWING that Sarah cannot begin to compare with Caroline's accomplishments and grace.

Keep on deluding yourself, because, while you will most definitely delete this, know that I KNOW how much YOU are lying to yourself, so posting Pro-Sarah only posts on this page shows ME (as well everyone else that you have deleted) just how tenuous (look it up) and emotionally insecure you really are.

Good luck with that.

The more Caroline Kennedy opens her mouth, the more convinced I am that if we didn't permit trusts to exist in America the present day Kennedys would all be broke.

There would be a helluva lot of rich bartenders and hookers up and down the East Coast.

And Caroline would be behind the counter at a Madison Avenue boutique, and not a customer.

Any comparisons between Sarah Palin and Caroline Kennedy are totally out of line.

Palin has actually run for office (and won) a bunch of times. She has successfully run both a city and a State government. And she is wholly self-made.

Kennedy on the other hand is a typical member of this generation of her family-- great educational resume (although I think we all know how they got into those schools), light on brains (remember her brother took a few times to pass the bar), heavy on press-fed mystique, and carrying a huge load of entitlement.

Someone once called the Royal Family of Britain England's most famous welfare family. Except that it's Joe's bootleg money, and not taxpayer's funds, the Kennedy's are our's.

People are sniping at Gov. Paterson for failing to appoint her quickly, to end these attacks on her. Our Governor-by-hooker is showing himself to be a pretty adept politician. He is simply waiting, letting this incompetent dilettante burn herself out in the press, then he can pick whom he chooses.

Smart Governor.

Typical Kennedy.
