Good News and Bad News For Sarah Palin

The bad news is that Sarah Palin will not be a member of the Unites States Senate, at least not for two years.

Her shot at joining the Senate quickly disappeared when Republican Ted Stevens was declared the loser in Alaska's Senate race.

Stevens, convicted recently on federal corruption charges, lost to Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich.

Just days ago, Palin's staff was privately hoping that Stevens would beat Begich. Senate Republicans have said they would lead the effort to expel Stevens, if he won. The door would be open to Senator Sarah Palin who hinted she would run in a special election.

But now Sarah will have to wait until the other Alaskan Senate seat comes up in two years.

If I was Senator Lisa Murkowski, I'd be looking over my shoulder.

In the meantime, Sarah Palin can write a book.

Here is the goo news, the Times of London is reporting that book publishers are willing to shell out upwards of 7 Million Dollars in advance for the rights to a Sarah Palin Book.

Not bad for a family that made 166 thousand dollars last year.

Better she remain governer. After the debacle that will be the obama presidency we are going to need someone with actual administrative experience. Even with the media trashing her she will become more and more popular. There is going to be a lot of buyers remorse in this country over the next couple of years and Sarah Palin will be just the fix. Jumping at a senate seat to enhance her credentials would have been played as opportunistic, which will NOT look good after the afore mentioned debacle of a person who spent his life running for office instead of working.

When it was announced that Governor Sara Palin from Alaska was John McCain’s pick as vice president for the Republican Party every one was shocked. After a few days the American people began to realize what Governor Sara Palin had to offer as Vice President of the United States. There are certainly reasons why Senator John McCain chose Governor Sarah Palin, she has a vast political history and has accomplished great things in Alaska. She is very strong spoken and has the skills it takes to succeed. She also has a voice for the conservative people on tough subjects such as abortion. She has made many improvements on the state of Alaska and could possibly make an impact on America as well but she will not get away that easy. Governor Sarah Palin has and will face more accusations and criticism because Governor Sarah Palin has very conservative stands. She has already proven to be a tough “pit bull with lipstick” and a fellow “maverick” among John McCain, but can she prove to America that she is without a doubt the best choice as Vice President. Will the Republican team conquer the votes and win the election in November? If not, was she the reason that John McCain lost votes?
