In the last week, some nameless rat in the McCain campaign are looking for somebody to blame.
Because the Presidential campaign staff and the Vice Presidential campaign staff rarely mix, it is easy to point down. That is exactly what is happening.'
The rats sensing defeat are not jumping off the ship, instead they are throwing Sarah Palin off and blaming her for all of their problems.
They have resorted to name calling and slimy accusations.
First of all, all of these rats were probably nodding their head in agreement with John McCain when he picked Palin.
Second, Palin brought life to a lifeless campaign, solidified the Conservative base and attracted women that would not have considered McCain.
Finally, if John McCain ever found out who the rats are he would fire them on the spot and, as McCain likes to say, "you would know their names."
Kathryn Jean Lopez wrote a great article on the blame game in the National Review.
She writes, "There are all sorts of reasons not to blame Palin for the down-to-the-wire nature of this close election, but to thank her. Without her, all may have been lost for the Republicans weeks ago. She has, by McCain’s own admission, energized the campaign. She has presented America with an entirely new type of feminism, one that conservative women and the Catholic Church can finally understand and identify with. She should not be faulted for providing the campaign and the election with a breath of fresh air. She’s clearly not a creature of Washington; she’s a citizen-legislator. She’s an ambitious, honest woman who tries to make it all work without playing victim or sacrificing her family."
And just watch, when Palin runs in 2012, these rats will all be looking to be a part of her campaign.

For those of you who think Palin was a great choice and can't wait to see her as VP, please put the bong down before election day. But first, could you please get on your unicorn and fly over to ask the Faerie Queen how the economy is doing in Fantasyland? Cause it has kind of gone haywire here in the USA under the trickle-down economics of the last 8 years.
It isn't too late to smell the rat in this Palin fiasco. Let's review:
Doesn't know what magazines she reads (her handlers gave her and the press a list of what she reads several hours later).
Doesn't know what Supreme Court decisions she disagrees with other than Roe v Wade.
Condemned fruit fly research, saying that money should be spent on autism research. Fruit fly research has led to many advances in understanding autism and other genetic diseases.
Thinks the VP is in charge of the Senate.
Criticized the media for criticizing her, citing the first amendment. Huh? The first amendment allows everyone to criticize everyone, not everyone except Governors running for VP.
Winked through an entire VP debate and answered not one question.
Has been Rovianly nasty and divisive from the start.
Consistently lies about her flimsy record. The pipeline WASN'T and HASN'T been built and may never be, she was FOR the bridge to nowhere and spent all the money, she did NOT say thanks but no thanks, she amended expense reports to cover expenses for her kids that shouldn't have been.
This was a partial list.
amen brother
she's a moron
You all can toss that useless cunt back into her cage. Keep her; America has no need for her.
In fact, bring ME Sarah''s severed leg, and I'll pay you $2,000.
WE are to Blame
Don't get me wrong - Palin was a disaster in waiting. And obviously Palin was used by the campaign.
All that Sarah Palin IS guilty of is that she allowed herself to be used. Clearly, she didn't have the understanding that moving to the Big Leagues was going to be different than running for Mayor or even for Governor of an insulated, small population state.
There are a lot of people out there who get by with flash over substance - sizzle over steak. (Paris Hilton anyone?) Unfortunately, a run for President will examine and magnify and distort every possible flaw a person has and even those they don't have ... and Sarah either didn't consider that or actually believed that she was qualified (I would bet on the latter). She had stars in her eyes. It's sad to see what is now happening, but it is also so very predictable given how our society falls for the cult of "celebrity".
I had a boss who told me that "perception is reality" as he "reworked" (ie: lied about) the unpopular profit projections to send to head office.
So who is ultimately responsible? WE ARE. We are a society that encourages hubris and overreaching. We egg them on to reach the top and then we gather with stones in our hands to knock them down when they get there.
Sarah will be fine ... she believes in her own PR. That's the really frightening thing.
This cunt will only succeed in overexposing herself until we find out the REAL DIRT on the bitch, and send her flat and flabby ass packing back to her inbred idiotic hellspawn.
Blame Sarah. Why not?
