Tina Fey Back Tonight To Debate!

Guess who is playing Gwen Ifell?

Queen Latifah will make a guest appearance tonight to play the moderator of the Vice Presidential debate.

My guess is the great Darrell Hammond will play Joe Biden.

And, of course, Tina Fey is back again as Sarah Palin.

Look for Tina to wink and pose as Sarah. Look for Hammond to keep saying "I love John McCain" and then attack him unmercifully.

I can't wait. SNL is at it's best when they get political. There have been some great political impressions on SNL over the years - Dan Ayroyd as Richard Nixon and then Jimmy Carter, Phil Hartman as Reagan, Dana Carvey as George Bush and Ross Perot, Will Ferrell as George W. Bush and Hammond as Bill Clinton. But the Tina Fey impression of Sarah Palin may be the best ever.

But Wired.Com thinks Fey is going to have to change her Palin character a little bit because Sarah was so much better in the debate. She made no obvious gaffes and was strong looking right at the camera with confidence. it will be interesting to see if Palin stays with her caraciture or changes it to fit the new Sarah Palin.

I expect it will be the opening of the show.
