Sarah Palin Is Laura Croft!

She may be pretty. She may have that "gosh darn it" folksy way of speaking. She may pose and wink and smile a lot. But make no mistake about it, Sarah Palin is a tough and skilled politician who can go to war with the best of them.

She is much tougher than her boss John McCain.

She is the political version of the video game and movie character Laura Croft. Beautiful on the exterior, but tough as nails and ready to attack. And they are both pretty good with a gun.

McCain has told his campaign that they are never to use Reverend Jeremiah Wright in campaign ads and he will not bring him up in speeches or debates. Wright is the former pastor of Obama's church in Chicago, who spouted out ugly bile about America in his sermons.

Bill Kristol, the conservative columnist, recently spoke with Sarah Palin about Reverend Wright and wrote a column for The New York Times.

This is what Palin said about Wright, " “To tell you the truth, Bill, I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more, because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country, and to have sat in the pews for 20 years and listened to that — with, I don’t know, a sense of condoning it, I guess, because he didn’t get up and leave — to me, that does say something about character. But, you know, I guess that would be a John McCain call on whether he wants to bring that up.”

It sounds like Sarah does want to bring it up.

First, she questioned the McCain campaign for pulling out of Michigan. Then she insisted on campaigning in Nebraska. And now she wants the campaign to get tougher.

It reminds me of the skit from YouTube superstar Lisa Nova, who played Sarah Palin as a tough Alaskan getting the phone call from John McCain to join the ticket. The skit seems prophetic now.

Be careful, the skit has obscenities. Here it is:

John McCain has unleashed Sarah Palin on America. She represents a new kind of politics.

Think Laura Croft with glasses.

So your qualification for the vice presidency is in some measure related to the person's comparison to a fictional adventurer? That's just pathetic.

"Laura" Croft!

Way to win credibility.

Presumably you'll be comparing her to Sonac the Hedgepig; Supper Mario Bruisers; and Hitman 36?

Who is this Sara Paulin character anyway?
