On MSNBC this morning, Conservative Commentator Pat Buchanan dubbed Sarah Palin "the most popular person in the Republican Party."
It is hard to disagree considering the crowds she draws on the campaign trail.
For instance, Palin is scheduled to appear as a rally and fundraiser in Southwest Florida on Monday. The event had to be moved to a bigger arena because of the demand for tickets. A few thousand people lined up for tickets at several locations around Florida this morning. Click here for the details.
No one, not Obama, McCain or Biden is generating that kind of excitement on the campaign trail now.

It says a great deal about the Republican Party that an idiot like Palin is the "most popular person" in the party.
That is totally pathetic.
And anon snarky comments say a lot about liberals.
Don't know what S Florida event you're referring to (the link didn't work), but the upcoming Palin event here in Pensacola (NW Fla) has also been moved to a larger venue to satisfy the demand for tickets.
Subject Line : Beat Long Poll Lines with Absentee Ballots from StateDemocracy.org
Many state and local election officials are encouraging voters to use Absentee Ballots to avoid the long lines and delays expected at the polls on November 4th due to the record-breaking surge in newly registered voters.
Voters in most states still have time to obtain an Absentee Ballot by simply downloading an official application form available through www.StateDemocracy.org, a completely FREE public service from the nonprofit StateDemocracy Foundation.

Its great to see the Democrats try and trash Sarah Palin - it means they are worried. They should be, Palin already has a huge Palin for President in 2012 contigent across the country. Palin connects with the peoplem and this is bad news for them. Palin is probably the most savvy politician to every run for President. The funny thing is that the Obama crowd didn't even know Congress was controlled by Democrats or that Obama thought there were 57 states.
He is already a disaster basically picking old Clinton appointees for his cabinet. No Change there
