New Poll Shows Palin Again Saving McCain

A new CBS News poll shows that the Vice Presidential debate and Sarah Palin's attacks on Barack Obama has brought voters back to the McCain/Palin ticket.

Among likely voters, the poll shows Obama/Biden at 48 percent and McCain/Palin at 45 percent.

Before the debates, the same poll showed Obama ahead 51 percent to 42 percent among likely voters.

The momentum has shifted and if you didn't know any better you would think the race is between Sarah Palin and Barrack Obama as Palin's attacks on Obama are getting all of the attention these days.

The Obama campaign has not yet directly attacked Sarah Palin. Then again, they don't need to. Their surrogates in the media do it for them. Expect still more columns and articles slamming Palin in the coming days. The more effective she is, the more the media goes after her.

She is NOT effective in the least. I could help McCain as much as Palin does....not at all. Looking at polling of the Republican base doesn't mean anything at all. It is like asking Christians if the are for or against Christ.
