You've heard the controversy. Queen of all women, Oprah Winfrey, has refused to have the challenger to her crown on her show.
Sarah Palin is the biggest celebrity in the world right now and Oprah doesn't want to interview her?
Politico reported last week that there were big arguments in Camp Oprah about Sarah Palin and the Queen herself came down from her throne to announce, "No Sarah Palin!"
Something was smelly in Oprahland!
How could she pass up this chance at high ratings and even more prestige? Could it be that she has already endorsed and campaigned for Barack Obama?
The Internet went wild with this story last week. The news cable channels followed and the Queen of all Women was put in the unusual position of defending herself. She announced from her balcony, "No, no, no, you silly masses. I would LOVE to talk with Sarah Palin. Only, let's do it after the election. I have spoken, so let it be written. Now stop questioning me and get back in your cars and listen to Oprah radio until you can get home to read Oprah Magazine while you get ready for the Oprah show."
And still a shout came from the crowd of women who now identify with this Hockey Mom and former PTA member Sarah Palin, "But Oprah, you had Barack Obama on your show?"
Oprah was on her way back into her Oprah bubble that shields her from such rabble, when she froze. The crowd hushed. Someone dared to question the Queen again! Oprah turned and forced a smile, "Yes, my little common Mommy, but that was before he announced his candidacy."
"But then you went out and campaigned for him after he announced," the voice from the crowd would not be quieted so easily.
Oprah was getting mad. These Moms were getting a tad uppity for her. It wasn't her fault that they decided to have kids. But she's glad they did, that's why they are home in the afternoon and able to watch her show. And now they are revolting because one of them wants to break out on the National scene. How dare they!
"Shouldn't you now interview Palin to show you are not biased?" The voice shouted and the rest of the crowd seemed to agree. Even ABC News ABC News, a devout follower of the Queen, questioned her.
"NO!" shouted Oprah and slammed the door as she entered her Oprah bubble where everyone agreed with her again. "I'm never leaving this bubble again!" She told her staff, "They can be mean out there, they even disagree with me sometimes."
The Queen was confident the controversy would just go away.
But it grew. It grew in the same place it started - The Internet. Thousands have now signed a petition to try and force Oprah to have Sarah Palin, the Moose-eating, Jesus-loving, Hockey Mom on her show.
Will Oprah listen to the women who made her what she is?
It is difficult to talk to someone who lives in a bubble. All they see is what is around them. The only people they talk with are the people they allow in. Because they created the bubble, they stat to believe that they created and run everything and can do as they please.
Burst the Oprah bubble and sign this petition. If Oprah wants to get involved in trying to decide elections, she should recuse herself from her show and get out there and campaign full time. On the other hand, if she wants America to trust her, leave her bias as the bubble door and continue to do a show for ALL Americans, but especially those hockey Moms who gave you the success you enjoy.
Go to the petition here and remind Oprah just who she owes her success to.

Wait, I thought being a celebrity was a BAD thing?
Oh that's right - it's only bad if you're a democrat. Nothing is bad or wrong if you're a Republican.
