Sarah Palin is back home in Alaska for a three day stretch that will have a profound impact on her, both politically and personally.
First and foremost, Sarah Palin is in Alaska to say goodbye to her son Track, who is going to Iraq. The Sarah Palin Blog wishes Track and all of the troops a safe journey and a quick tour. God Bless you, we are proud of you, and we hope to have you all home soon.
The Governor of Alaska put together this message today for all of the troops.
Next, Sarah is scheduled to do a series of three interviews with Charlie Gibson of ABC News. You will see the first reports from Alaska tonight on World News Tonight, there will then be a prime time special on 20/20, followed by a special Nightline and then again tomorrow on Good Morning America. ABC will be the Sarah Palin Network for the next 24 hours. And the Network is expecting record ratings
And to think, Oprah didn't want that interview. (Sign Petition below)
Palin arrived last night to record crowds at the Fairbanks airport. Here she is getting off the plane and addressing the crowd:
Huge crowds in Alaska, where she is loved and a son going off to Iraq. The images will be so powerful tonight that Charlie Gibson will have a difficult time not turning the prime time special into an hour long commercial for McCain/Palin.
