Matt Damon was so cute and likeable when he just smiles and keeps his politics to himself. But the George Clooney side kick just couldn't help himself and now he too has joined the smear Sarah Palin campaign.
He told the Associated Press that Sarah Palin as V-P "is like a really bad Disney movie, The Hockey Mom."
Um, Matt, in Hollywood insulting a Republican is probably a net plus in getting work, insulting Disney is probably a mistake.
Also, Damon was the face of those "One" ads to fight world poverty. The ads and the cause have been brillaintly non-partisan. Bono, who started One, even visited George Bush at the White House and praised him for his work with the charity.
Matt may have ticked off both Bono and Mickey Mouse with one idiotic comment.
Sigh, I wish these people would just act.
